Born in Belgium, the powerful midfielder started his career with Anderlecht before moving to German side VfB Stuttgart in 2017.

After establishing himself in the Bundesliga, Mangala was called into the Belgium senior squad for the first time in March 2021 before joining The Reds in July.

The midfielder made his Premier League debut away at Newcastle before making his first start in our home victory against West Ham United.
