Born in Lewisham, left-back Richards signed for The Reds from German giants Bayern Munich in July.

Following his professional debut for Reading in 2017, Richards would go on to make over 100 appearances for The Royals before securing a move to the Allianz Arena in May 2021.

Richards featured 17 times as Bayern won the DFL-Supercup and Bundesliga title during the 2021/22 campaign.
