The charity, which has a long-standing relationship with Nottingham Forest, has held multiple foodbank collections on matchdays at The City Ground and seen tremendous support from Forest fans over recent years.
Forest Women players Mai Moncaster and Liv Cook, who have been instrumental in arranging the donation, wanted the team to do their bit and give something back to those less fortunate.
Mai said: "It’s really important that we’re giving back to a local charity in Hope Nottingham as we represent Nottingham Forest and it’s our community.
“We have a lot of young supporters from the area that come through our gates and support us, so we wanted to give something back and show that we’re more than just a football club."
Liv Cook stressed how important it is for those who are fortunate enough to do so to give something back to the local community when possible.
“We know we’re in such a fortunate position ourselves and anyone who can make a difference should make a difference no matter how little or large as it all goes a long way,” she said.
“As a club we get a lot of support from our community so we wanted to do as much as we can to reciprocate that support and give something back.”
