Nottingham Forest can confirm that Under 23s goalkeeper George Shelvey has joined National League side Wealdstone on a youth loan.
The 19-year-old has been a regular through the age groups since joining the club at the foundation phase, appearing frequently for the Under 18s and 23s and this season has often trained with the first team and been part of the travelling squad on matchdays.
He gained first-team experience in a loan spell at Southern League Premier Division South side Truro City last season and was named on the substitutes' bench for last season's Emirates FA Cup tie away at Chelsea.
Shelvey signed a new contract with the club last month and now moves to the Stones until the end of May to team up with fellow Under 23s player Riley Harbottle.
