Nottingham Forest are delighted to confirm the signing of Paraguayan central midfielder Braian Ojeda.

The 21 year old joins The Reds from Paraguay Primera Division side Olimpia on a four year deal.

Ojeda made his debut for Olimpia as an 18 year old and has represented the Paraguay national team at U17, U20 and U23 levels, as well as enjoying a loan spell at Defensa y Justicia in the Argentine Primera Division.

Chris Hughton, Nottingham Forest manager said: “Braian is a signing who will give us valuable competition in the central midfield area. He has a good profile as a young player who is keen to progress in the game and is an important addition to the squad. I look forward to getting to work with Braian over the international break as we start to prepare for the Cardiff match.”

The Reds have also signed full back Mohamed Drager from Olympiakos on a permanent deal.

The German-born 25 year old has made 18 appearances for Tunisia, scoring two goals.

Drager started his career at Freiburg in the Bundesliga and also played in the German top flight on loan with Paderborn before joining Olympiakos last year.

Ojeda and Drager join new signings US goalkeeper Ethan Horvath, Philip Zinckernagel, Jordi Osei-Tutu, James Garner and Max Lowe as The Reds strengthen their squad for the 2021-22 Championship campaign.
