The experienced 37-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Championship side Watford but now joins up with Chris Hughton’s side for the rest of the campaign.
Over the course of an impressive career so far, Murray scored 111 goals for Brighton across two spells and his 23 strikes for The Seagulls in 2016-17 sent them to the Premier League before 25 goals came in his first two seasons back in the top-flight.
Prior to that, Murray had netted an incredible 30 Championship goals for Crystal Palace in the 2012-13 season to finish top scorer in the Championship and help them seal promotion to the Premier League.
Manager Chris Hughton said of Murray: “Glenn is a player I know very well and he has an excellent pedigree at this level. Certainly he will add leadership and experience to our squad between now and the end of the season.
“He is a proven goalscorer at Premier League and Championship level and has continued to keep himself fit so we are looking forward to what he can bring to the squad ahead of a busy run of fixtures.”
