Nottingham Forest's first round Carabao Cup tie against Bradford City at The City Ground will be played on Wednesday, 11th August (kick-off, 7.45pm).

The club welcomes the positive announcement by the Prime Minister that capacity restrictions for sporting events are expected to be lifted later this month. If so, the Bradford tie will become the first competitive home game of the 2021-22 season with Forest supporters present.

The Reds kick-off the EFL Championship season the weekend before, travelling to the Ricoh Arena to face Coventry City on Sunday, 8th August (4.30pm). The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Ticket details for the Bradford match will be confirmed in due course and communicated through the club's official social media channels.
