Lewis Salmon and Billy Fewster have joined the Nottingham Forest Academy on permanent deals.
Salmon joins the U23s on a two-year contract from National League Altrincham.
The 19-year-old forward from Stoke-on-Trent joins Andy Reid's side having completed a successful trial period at The Nigel Doughty Academy in April.
"I can't wait to get started," said Lewis.
"I've been with Altrincham for 18 months and been on loan a couple of times so I feel I've gained a good amount of experience already. I'm a player that works really hard and enjoys scoring goals, so I'm delighted to be given this opportunity.
"The Academy set up here is really good. Gary Brazil and Andy Reid really sold the club to me and I'm delighted to be here."
Midfielder Fewster, who turns 18 at the end of the month, joins from Leeds United.
He said: “I’m really pleased to be here and it’s a move that I’m really excited to make. Forest has a great history and reputation for developing young player and I can’t wait to get started.
"As soon as I met the coaches, I knew this was a club where I could develop as a player and push myself on.”
The club can also confirm that U23s defender, Riley Harbottle, has signed new terms along with Sam Sanders, Josh Barnes and Jordan Wright.
The 2021-22 season sees the club operate under Category 1 Academy status for the first time. The club’s U23 and U18 teams will enter the elite academy games programme for next season, including Premier League 2 and cup competitions.
