Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson has been named EFL Young Player of the Month for September.
The 20 year-old has been rewarded for his fine form throughout the month of September as The Reds earned away wins against Huddersfield and Barnsley as well as a home draw against Millwall at The City Ground.
The academy graduate featured five times for The Reds throughout the month and scored in the 3-1 away victory at Oakwell whilst also picking up two assists, crossing for Lewis Grabban to head home against Huddersfield before teeing up Philip Zinckernagel at Barnsley.
On the award, Brennan said: "It's a really good feeling and I'm proud to be given this award.
"It shows the hard work that all of the squad have been putting in and that's really helped me to perform well.
"I've been able to express myself and play a lot of football so far this season and I'm really enjoying it here.
"I want to continue helping the team with more goals and assists and now we're focussed on getting a positive result against Blackpool."
Brennan will next be in action for The Reds this afternoon against Blackpool at The City Ground (kick-off 3pm) with tickets available here.
