Nottingham Forest can confirm the appointments of Alan Tate, Danny Alcock and Stephen Rands to head coach Steve Cooper's coaching staff.

Alan joins as assistant first team coach and previously worked with Cooper at Swansea City, the duo leading The Swans to back-to-back Sky Bet Championship play-off campaigns in 2019-20 and 2020-21.

Tate enjoyed a long playing career and made over 250 appearances for Swansea, followed by spells at Leeds United, Aberdeen and Crewe Alexandra. Tate re-joined Swansea in 2016 as an academy coach and was appointed as Cooper's assistant coach in 2019.

Also joining Cooper is first team goalkeeper coach and head of goalkeeping, Danny Alcock. Alcock has most recently been involved with England U20s and spent eight years as a coach within the Stoke City academy between 2010-2018.

Stephen Rands joins The Reds as a first team analyst. Stephen has previously worked under Roberto Mancini and Pep Guardiola at Manchester City before working with Cooper during his tenure at the Liberty Stadium.

The club is also delighted to confirm that Steven Reid will continue his stint at the club as assistant coach. Reid was in temporary charge for last weekend’s 2-0 victory at Huddersfield Town.

The new coaching team’s first match in charge of The Reds is on Saturday versus Millwall, kick off 3pm. A large crowd is expected and tickets are from just £25 for adults and £5 for kids. Tickets are available for collection from The City Ground or, to save you queueing, can also be printed at home or uploaded to your mobile phone.
