Steve Cooper says he's hoping to build on the togetherness formed between the players and supporters as The Reds prepare to face Swansea on Saturday.

Forest climbed to third in the Sky Bet Championship table on Tuesday evening following a 1-0 victory at league-leaders Fulham, a win that confirms The Reds' place in the top-six with three games remaining.

However, after a busy run of fixtures Cooper says the team are focused solely on the next challenge as Swansea visit a sold-out City Ground this weekend.

"It's a busy period and fatigue does build up but other teams have the same problem and you just have to manage it as best as you can and you have to focus on the lads that are available.

"The lads that came on at Fulham the other night contributed really well and that's what you want. We had a really good training session today and we have a hard-working, focused group and everyone is together.

"The City Ground is a special place on any given home game, regardless of whether it's the first or the last game of the season. It's a real coming together when we're at The City Ground and a sense of belonging which is great and we look forward to being back again this weekend.

"Game in, game out the atmosphere has been incredible and hopefully that will be the case again this weekend. We don't underestimate the honour that it is to play at home and Saturday will be no different.

"Togetherness can only be a good thing, it's something you should never take for granted and has to be be authentic. Our aim is to continue to build on that and the stronger relationship we can have with the supporters the better.

"We don't want to stand still with that, we've got to continue to play well and work hard and continue to be as together as we can.

"This league throws up tough tests each and every week and Swansea will be no different."
