As the World Cup group games came to a close on Friday, here's a closer look at how our Reds fared throughout the week in Qatar...
Remo Freuler scored the winning goal for Switzerland to secure a vital 3-2 win against Serbia on Friday evening.
Xherdan Shaqiri's goal gave Switzerland the lead before Aleksandar Mitrović and Dušan Vlahović put Serbia ahead, only for Breel Embolo to equalise at the end of an entertaining first half.
Three minutes in to the second half, Freuler netted the winner with a cool left-footed finish from inside the penalty area to send Switzerland through to the knockout stages.
They join Brazil from Group G in the last 16, while Cameroon and Serbia bow out of the competition.

Neco Williams and Brennan Johnson both featured for Wales on Tuesday evening during a 3-0 defeat to England.
Williams started at right-back before being forced off with concussion after blocking a powerful strike with his head on 36 minutes.
Johnson entered the action at half time, replacing Gareth Bale, but his presence couldn't help prevent second half goals from forward duo Marcus Rashford (2) and Phil Foden.
Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey missed the match through suspension after being shown a red card in the previous fixture against Iran.
The defeat means Wales are now out of the World Cup, finishing bottom of Group B on one point.
Richie Laryea featured as a second half substitute on Thursday evening as Canada bowed out of the FIFA World Cup.
His nation were defeated 2-1 by Morocco in Group F, with Hakim Ziyech and Youssef En-Nesyri on target before an own goal gave Canada a lifeline just before half time.
Laryea entered the action on the 66th minute, replacing Jonathan Osorio which meant the 27-year-old wing-back featured in all three of Canada's fixtures in Qatar.
Despite some impressive performances, Canada finished bottom of Group F on zero points, with Croatia and Morocco advancing through to the last 16.

Brandon Aguilera started for Costa Rica on Thursday evening as they lost 4-2 to Germany in Group E.
The 19-year-old midfielder, currently on loan at Guanacasteca, played the opening 45 minutes before being withdrawn at the break.
Serge Gnabry gave Germany a half time lead, before Yeltsin Tejeda and Juan Pablo Vargas turned the game on its head to give Costa Rica the lead with 20 minutes remaining.
However, goals from Kai Havertz (2) and Niclas Füllkrug handed Germany the points, although results elsewhere meant both sides failed to progress through to the knockout stages.
Aguilera featured in all three of Costa Rica's games, with Spain and Japan progressing to the last 16.

Striker Hwang Ui-jo featured for South Korea as his nation defeated Portugal on Friday afternoon.
The 30-year-old, on loan at Olympiacos, entered the action for the final 10 minutes as South Korea scored an injury time goal to secure their place in the knockout stages.
Hwang featured in all three of South Korea's Group H fixtures as they progress alongside Portugal, with Uruguay and Ghana finishing third and fourth respectively.

Goalkeeper Ethan Horvath, currently on loan at Luton Town, was among the substitutes as USA beat Iran 1-0 on Tuesday evening to ensure their progression to the knockout stages.
Next up for USA is a round of 16 fixture against the Netherlands on Saturday afternoon, kick-off 15:00 GMT.

Mohamed Dräger was an unused substitute as Tunisia pulled off an upset to beat reigning champions France 1-0 on Wednesday evening.
Wahbi Khazri's goal in the 51st minute was enough to beat Didier Deschamps' side, although the victory wasn't enough to see Tunisia through to the knockout stages, finishing third on four points behind France and Australia.

Senegal midfielder Cheikhou Kouyaté hasn't featured since picking up an injury against the Netherlands in the opening round of fixtures, with his nation back in action on Sunday evening against England in the round of 16 (kick-off 19:00 GMT).
