Tyrese Fornah has joined Sky Bet League One side Shrewsbury Town on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The midfielder has been a regular for Andy Reid’s Under 23s in their Premier League 2 campaign this season and recently signed a new contract to remain at The City Ground until the end of the 2023/24 season.

The 22-year-old also made three first team appearances back in August, including a man-of-the-match display against Bradford City in the Carabao Cup.

Having been training with Steve Cooper’s first team squad, Fornah will now spend the rest of the season on loan in Sky Bet League One with Shrewsbury Town.

Shrewsbury, who are managed by former Forest boss Steve Cotterill, currently sit 15th in League One.

We wish Tyrese well for the remainder of the season.
