Hat-trick hero Sam Surridge insisted Forest could have scored more goals after a 5-1 win over Swansea at The City Ground.
Forest recorded their biggest win of the season with a 5-1 win over The Swans in The Reds' final regular league game at home this season.
A Cyrus Christie own-goal was cancelled out by a Michael Obafemi leveller before half-time, with The Reds somehow level at the interval.
But Surridge headed The Reds back in front three minutes into the second half before making it 3-1 with a superb curling effort four minutes later.
Surridge completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute with a near-post finish, before substitute Alex Mighten rounded off the afternoon as he latched onto Brice Samba's long ball before prodding home.
Post-match, Surridge said: "In the changing room, we're thinking we could have got eight or nine, but a 5-1 win and a hat-trick for myself is perfect.
"Their goalkeeper made some unbelievable saves, but we weren't panicking at half-time. We were chilled and we knew what quality we had.
"We just needed to keep on believing in what we were doing and we got the result.
"The first goal, I knew I could get off the defender and luckily I made good contact. The second goal, I just had to open my body up and aim towards the far post and it went in.
"The third goal, I just had to hit it at the goalkeeper and luckily it went in. I know he's conceded five goals but he's had a great game, but it is credit to us."
