Nottingham Forest Football Club were proud to host our inaugural Women’s team Sponsors and Player Presentation Evening at The City Ground on Wednesday night.

Andy Cook's side have enjoyed a successful season, winning the FA Women's National League Plate for the first time in the club’s history and are currently sat fourth in the FA Women's National League Northern Premier table. Forest Women also attracted a record league attendance for the visit of Derby County at The City Ground last October.

To celebrate their campaign, players and sponsors were invited to The City Ground last night where a number of awards were presented:

  • Head Coach's Player of the Season - Lyndsey Harkin
  • Fans' Player of the Season - Mai Moncaster
  • Players' Player of the Season - Lyndsey Harkin and Emily Batty
  • Goal of the Season - Amy West vs Loughborough Lightning

Andy Cook, Nottingham Forest Women's Head Coach, said: "We have made good progress this season and now cannot wait for next pre-season. We are clear on the work we need to do and we are committed to moving the women's team forward again next season.

"The standout moments this season have been the Plate victory and playing at The City Ground for the first time. It has been a really exciting season.

"I would like to thank the efforts of all the girls this season. It is a fantastic club to work for and we are all honoured to represent Nottingham Forest Football Club.

"We are very grateful for the support of all our sponsors. They play such an important role in supporting the team and we are delighted to be able to attract such fantastic partners on our journey.

"I would also like to thank all of the Forest fans who have come to watch us this season. It is inspiring to be part of the Forest family and we look forward to seeing you again next season."
