Five Forest players have been selected to represent their nation at the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Johnson has 15 senior caps to date, with Williams amassing 23 caps while Hennessey is the third most-capped player in Wales’ history with 106 caps, three behind former Forest full-back Chris Gunter, who has also been named in the squad.

The trio will be looking to make more history for their nation as Wales take part in their first World Cup since 1958, with all three playing a key part in helping Rob Page's side qualify for the tournament in Qatar following a play-off victory against Ukraine in June.

A player joining them at the World Cup is Cheikhou Kouyaté after the midfielder was named in Senegal’s squad.

The 32-year-old will be part of a side that shares Group A with hosts Qatar, Netherlands and Ecuador, with his nation kicking-off their tournament against the Netherlands on Monday 21st November.

Kouyaté has 83 caps for his nation to date, and will hope to add more to that tally as Senegal embark on their third World Cup finals, most notably reaching the quarter-finals back in 2002.
