American goalkeeper Ethan Horvath has been named in the USMNT squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper has been rewarded for his fine form on loan at Luton Town this season with a place in Gregg Berhalter's 26-man squad for the tournament in Qatar, which begins on Sunday 20th November.

Horvath has made 19 appearances so far for The Hatters, keeping eight clean sheets in the process as his side sit ninth in the Championship.

The former Club Brugge man joined Forest in July 2021, making 11 appearances for The Reds before making the temporary switch to Kenilworth Road.

USA have been drawn in Group B with England, Iran and Wales and will begin their campaign against Wales on Monday 21st November before facing England on Friday 25th November.

We wish Ethan well for his time at the tournament and congratulate him on his deserved call-up.
