Forest U21s return to Premier League 2 Division 2 action on Monday evening as The Reds host Sunderland at Alfreton Town's Impact Arena.

The fixture will be under way from 19:00 BST as Forest look to secure their first win of the campaign following a narrow 2-1 defeat last time out at Newcastle United.

The Reds will be boosted by the potential return of Northern Ireland pair Dale Taylor and Aaron Donnelly following the latest round of international fixtures, plus Wales U21 midfielder Oli Hammond.

"The boys have trained incredibly well during the international break and we hope to take that in to tonight's game," said U21s Coach Dave Rogers.

"We've welcomed some key players back into the group this week which is a boost and we'll be looking to put in a positive performance against a strong Sunderland side.

"We want to build some momentum and I can't fault the attitude and application of the players so far this season, we just haven't quite been on the right side of results recently but we've had a positive week and we're looking forward to the game.

"We'll look to be on the front foot and play with freedom and we believe we have enough quality in the squad to come away with a positive result and performance."

Supporters wishing to attend can purchase tickets on arrival for £5 adults, £3 over 65 & U21s and U16s free with an accompanying adult.
