Head Coach Steve Cooper says he'll be hoping to see an improvement in performance on Tuesday evening as The Reds travel to face Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.
Forest were beaten 1-0 at Wolves last time out following Ruben Neves' penalty, and although Cooper's men put in an improved second half display, The Reds couldn't quite find a response.
Speaking ahead of the trip to seventh-place Brighton, Cooper acknowledges his side's level of performance must improve but insists the squad are totally committed to working towards the level required to be successful in the Premier League.
"It was a disappointing result at Wolves, albeit we did our very best to get something out of the game and on another day we take the chances that we had," said Cooper.
"If we want to give ourselves a chance of getting better results then we have to play better with the ball. We need to show our technical levels because we have good creative players.
"We're striving to put everything together and we've had some games where we've played well and looked a threat but quite open defensively and some game where our defensive shape is good but haven't quite been able to manage the ball when we win it.
"We've got to show both of those things together and that's part of the challenge of getting to where we want to be and we continue to work towards that. We are striving to get the next positive result and all of our focus is on Tuesday.

"I believe in the players and what we're trying to do and we're committing to it 100%. We want to improve at every aspect of our game and that's what we'll do day by day and game by game.
"We're not hiding away from it and we've been talking very openly about the situation and that's good, because when you care about something you do your very best to improve.
"I've never been so motivated or up for a challenge and my biggest motivation is the idea of getting through this and succeeding because it means so much to me and the players.
"What we've got to do now is deliver. The fans have been incredible, the club have been incredible and we've really got to strive now to do our bit and face up to the situation we're in."
