Nottingham Forest is delighted to confirm the signing of defender Loïc Badé from Rennes.

The 22-year-old arrives on a season-long loan from the French Ligue 1 side having made 22 appearances since joining from Lens last summer, scoring his first professional goal in the 1-0 win over Mura in the UEFA Europa Conference League in November.

Badé came through the ranks at Paris FC before joining Le Havre, making his professional debut in January 2020.

In June 2020, Badé completed a move to Lens, making 33 appearances as they finished seventh in the league.

The defender also has three caps for the France Under-21 side, having made his debut against the Faroe Islands in September 2021.

Welcome to Nottingham, Loïc!
