The Reds faced West Bromwich Albion at Halbrooke Stadium as Forest hoped to extend their lead at the top of the Northern Premier Division.
Andy Cook made three changes to side defeated the then unbeaten Burnley last Sunday as Mai Moncaster replaced Yasmin Mosby following her goal off the bench against The Clarets. Elsewhere Laura-Jayne O’Neill missed out with injury as Georgia Hewitt started in her place; Niamh Reynolds returned from illness for Charlotte Steggles.
The hosts started brightly with Arryana Daniels having a flurry of chances in the opening five minutes.
The Reds took a deserved lead in the 11th minute when an excellent cross from Hewitt was deflected home by an opposition player.
Forest pushed for a second goal with Becky Anderson and Sophie Domingo both coming close to doubling The Reds’ advantage.
32 minutes in and the hosts did have their second of the opening 45 as Amy West headed home from Lyndsey Harkin’s corner.
West Brom had their first shot at goal minutes after West’s goal as the visitors hit the Forest bar with a long-ranged effort.
Reynolds almost had the third as the midfielder drifted past multiple Baggies’ players then had her effort well saved by the ‘keeper in 43rd minute.

The Reds had their third of the night only eight after the restart as Reynolds found Domingo with an excellent through ball; the number 7 made no mistake to slot home.
Hayley James made her return from injury as the defender was introduced in the 54th minute for Georgia Hewitt.
55 minutes in and Moncaster scored her second goal in as many games when Daniels picked out the winger in the box with a low cross.
Forest had their fifth of the night in the 63rd minute as Moncaster fired a brilliant strike into the top corner from long range.
Cook looked to freshen things up in the 76th minute as Charlotte Steggles, Naomi Powell, Yasmin Mosby and Rosetta Taylor were introduced. Charlotte Greengrass, Olivia Cook, Sophie Domingo and Niamh Reynolds made way.

The Reds extended their lead at the top-of-the-table to seven points thanks to goals from Amy West, Sophie Domingo and a brace from Mai Moncaster.
Forest travel north to Yorkshire on Sunday 16th April to face Brighouse Town in the Northern Premier Division.
