Forest captain Joe Worrall insists that he and his teammates are ready for the fight as The Reds look to climb the table in the latter stages of the campaign.
Steve Cooper's side fell to a 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon, with goals from Bertrand Traoré and Ollie Watkins leaving The Reds 18th in the Premier League table with eight games remaining.
Following defeat in the West Midlands, Worrall insisted that he and his teammates must roll their sleeves up as The Reds return to home soil next weekend.
On the support...
“The fans are fantastic, they travel in their numbers no matter where we are in the table, where we are in the country.
“They follow in their numbers, they are absolutely immense home and away. We owe them a lot of gratitude."
On the remaining eight games...
“We are fully aware of the situation we’re in. There are eight cup finals left and we are well up for the fight.
“It’s not through a lack of effort or lack of desire, it’s about fine-tuning how we approach games away from home against different opposition.
“We’re more than capable of beating teams, it’s just how we go about that and how we go about executing that game plan."
On the upcoming Manchester United fixture...
“We’re back on home turf next week and, as everyone knows, we’ve been a lot better at home than we have been away.
"It’ll be an exciting game and it’s a must-win for us. We’re right in the thick of it and three points are like gold dust in this league."
