Forest Women travel to the Pirelli Stadium for their League Cup final on Sunday afternoon.

Andy Cook’s side look to overcome Watford as the Northern Premier Division leaders face the side second in the Southern Premier Division.

Forest Women face Watford in their first FA Women’s National League Cup final since 2011 on Sunday at the Pirelli Stadium.

The Reds defeated Leek Town, Norton & Stockton Ancients, Stoke City and Burnley before recording a dominant 5-0 win over Portsmouth at Halbrooke Stadium in the semi-final.

Sunday’s opponents, Watford, sit second in the Southern Premier Division; The Hornets defeated MK Dons in their quarter-final before beating Wolverhampton Wanderers en route to this season’s FAWNL Cup final.

Andy Cook previewed the challenge that The Reds face on Sunday ahead of the cup final, saying: “Watford are a really good side.

"They move the ball very well; they’ve got some good individual players.

“Watford are one of the best teams in the South, as we are one of the best in North so it should be an entertaining game for everyone watching.”

“We know it’s going to be a test and a battle. These are the reasons why we play football; we want to get into finals to have to opportunity to win some silverware.”

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £2.50 for concessions and entry for under 10s is free.

The FAWNL cup final will take place at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium on Princess Way in Burton-on-Trent, DE13 0AR.

Parking is available at the Pirelli Stadium.

Coach travel is available for supporters for £15; the coach leaves the City Ground from the Brian Clough car park at 2pm on Sunday.
