HEAD COACH'S VIEW
Head Coach Steve Cooper spoke to the media this week to preview the clash against the Seagulls.
"Brighton have quite rightly been getting a lot of praise for the season they’re having.
"When you play an opponent you study them a lot more and they seem like a really aligned and joined up club who are very clear about how they do everything and that’s very much been taken on to the pitch this season.
"They will be a really tough opponent, but one that we’re preparing well for and one we will be ready for.
"There’s a lot more scrutiny on games and results at the moment, but we’ve got to look after ourselves.
"It's at The City Ground and we know that we can have good times there, so we're going to give everything we can to make Wednesday another good night."
LAST TIME OUT
Our last meeting against Brighton came in October at the AMEX Stadium.
After a battling display, The Reds picked up a good point on the road, as the game finished 0-0.
RECENT FORM
Forest currently sit 19th in the Premier League table. Last time they out, they were defeated 3-2 by Liverpool at Anfield.
Brighton come into the fixture on the back of an Emirates FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester United on penalties, and currently sit eighth in the Premier League.
PLAYED FOR BOTH: JOEL LYNCH
Lynch came through Brighton's youth set up and was part of a history breaking team which saw them reach the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup.
He initially moved to Forest on loan in 2008/09 before makign the move permanent ahead of the 2009/10 campaign.
The defender spent four seasons on Trentside, making over 90 appearances in total.
