The Club can provide an update on Neco Williams following Wednesday night’s Premier League fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Williams is confirmed to have fractured his jaw while attacking Morgan Gibbs-White’s cross and was subsequently stretchered off in the 65th minute to a standing ovation from The City Ground crowd. The 22-year-old was immediately taken to hospital.
We are pleased to say that following positive surgery, the full-back is due to return home on Friday afternoon.
