Steve Cook has completed a permanent transfer to Sky Bet Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

Cook joined Forest from AFC Bournemouth in January 2021 and instantly became an integral part of a backline which boasted one of the best defensive records in the Championship as Steve Cooper's side won promotion to the Premier League.

Following his arrival from Bournemouth, the 32-year-old made 20 appearances in the second half of a memorable 2021/22 season, scoring a vital penalty in the play-off semi-final shootout victory over Sheffield United at The City Ground.

Cook featured 14 times across all competitions last season, including 12 times in the Premier League, and departs Forest having made 34 appearances in total.

Everyone at the club wishes Steve well for his future, and thanks him for his fantastic contribution during his time on Trentside.
