Dean Henderson has been voted as the Carabao Cup quarter final Player of the Round following his superb performance against Wolves at The City Ground.

The shot-stopper played an integral part in keeping the score level on Trentside during the 90 minutes, before saving two penalties in the shootout to help The Reds progress to the last four of the League Cup for the first time in over 30 years.

Henderson beat off competition from Newcastle United defender Dan Burn, Southampton winger Moussa Djenepo and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford to win the award following a public vote.

The 25-year-old is the second player to scoop the award for The Reds this season after Brennan Johnson was voted as the Player of the Round following December's victory against Blackburn Rovers.

Congratulations, Dean!
