HEAD COACH'S VIEW
Head Coach Steve Cooper spoke to the media this week to preview the clash against the side from West London.
"We've enjoyed the points that we've picked up so far and really thought about what it has taken to get them results in this league because no win comes easy. We won't look any further than the weekend because you have to give everything each day and in each moment.
"But we thrive on that and we're motivated to continue because that's our way. We know we're facing a tough opponent and we'll have to be at our very best, but we'll go there believing in ourselves."

LAST TIME OUT
Our last meeting against Fulham came at The City Ground earlier this campaign as Marco Silva's side secured a 3-2 victory on Trentside in September. Lewis O'Brien and Taiwo Awoniyi were on target for The Reds, however goals from Tosin Adarabioyo, João Palhinha and Harrison Reed saw the points return to West London.

The last trip to face Fulham in the capital was a memorable one, Philip Zinckernagel scoring the winner at Craven Cottage in April 2022 to earn The Reds all three points on the way to securing a Championship play-off place.

RECENT FORM
After returning to the Premier League alongside Forest this season, Fulham have enjoyed an impressive first half of the 2022/23 campaign and currently sit eighth in the division following nine wins from 22 fixtures so far.
Silva's side also progressed into the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup in midweek following a 3-2 victory against Sunderland at The Stadium of Light.
The Cottagers are captained by midfielder Tom Cairney, while Serbia international striker Aleksandar Mitrovic tops their goalscoring chart with 11 goals so far this season.

Meanwhile, The Reds were also victorious last time out as Brennan Johnson's superb first half volley was enough to beat Leeds United 1-0 at The City Ground on Sunday.
Forest are now 13th in the Premier League table, eight points behind Saturday's hosts having played one game less. A positive result for Cooper's side could see The Reds move up a place to 12th depending on results elsewhere.

PLAYED FOR BOTH: MARK CROSSLEY
Crossley started his career with The Reds, initially joining the youth setup in 1987 before signing profressional terms two years later. The goalkeeper went on to make 395 appearances across all competitions for Forest before signing for Middlesbrough in 2000.

Following a three-year stint with Middlesbrough, which included two loan spells at Stoke City, Crossley joined Fulham in 2003. During his time in West London, the shot-stopper made 23 appearances before departing for Oldham Athletic in 2007.
