Sam Surridge has completed a permanent transfer to Nashville SC.
The 24-year-old is set to embark on a new chapter with a move to the MLS on the horizon, bringing an end to a 18-month stay at The City Ground.
Surridge arrived on Trentside from Stoke City in January 2022, becoming an important player for Steve Cooper's side as Forest won promotion to the Premier League.
The striker scored seven goals in 17 Championship appearances in the second half of the season, including a hat-trick in Forest's 5-1 home win over Swansea City in May 2022.
Surridge featured 27 times in all competitions last season, scoring his first Premier League goal in Forest's 1-1 draw at AFC Bournemouth, and departs the club having made 50 appearances, scoring 11 goals.
Everyone at Nottingham Forest would like to wish Sam well as he embarks on a new chapter in his career, and thanks for him for his contribution during his time at the club.
