Head Coach Steve Cooper wants to go into Saturday’s away game against Tottenham Hotspur with confidence as The Reds look to return to winning ways in the Premier League.

Forest responded to a disappointing 4-0 defeat at West Ham with a 2-2 draw against Everton last Sunday - a game in which they came from behind twice to claim a point.

The Reds are back in Premier League action this weekend with a first trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the horizon (kick-off 3pm GMT).

Speaking ahead of his side’s trip to North London, Cooper said: “Tottenham are a fantastic team, they’re going for the Champions League.

“I watched them live last night and they play at an unbelievable level. The stadium is incredible and it’s a great place to go and play a football match.

“We’re expecting a really tough game, we don’t pay attention on whether it’s a bad or good time to play a team. We’ve got to be really focused on ourselves and we are clearly trying to improve the away form.

“It’s going to be a really tough game, but it’s one we want to go into with confidence and with commitment of knowing we want to do better on the road.”
