The Reds made the short trip south to face Loughborough Lightning in their Thursday night league clash under the lights at Loughborough University Stadium.

Andy Cook made one change to the eleven following Forest’s 10-1 win over Boldmere St. Michaels at the weekend, with Georgia Hewitt replacing Arryana Daniels.

The hosts got off to the perfect start when Kayleigh Hines fired in a free-kick to give Lightning the lead in the 8thminute.

The Reds pushed for an equaliser with striker Yasmin Mosby coming close with a free-kick in the 19th minute.

Loughborough doubled their advantage minutes before the break when Hines headed home a Loughborough corner for her second goal of the game.
