Nottingham Forest Football Club are delighted to support the Fan Engagement Standard (FES) that will be introduced by the Premier League for the 2023/24 season and beyond.

The FES was unanimously approved by all Premier League member clubs in November 2022 and reinforces our commitment to fan engagement and making lasting and proactive change to our football club for the benefit of our fans.

The Premier League announced the FES earlier today and full details on the framework can be found by clicking here.

Nottingham Forest Football Club place on record our commitment to adhering to the FES and further co-operating with our fans and engaging with them on a wide-range topics to enhance the experience for them and to ensure we continue to operate in a transparent fashion.

We are delighted with the fan’s forums we have hosted with our Chairman, Nicholas Randall KC and Steve Cooper over the past 18 months and ahead of the 23/24 campaign the club will publish our Fan Engagement Plan for the season ahead in which we will commit to hosting more events of this nature as well as further formalising our procedures for engagement and further growing the relationships we have in place with our Supporters Groups.

Under the current ownership the Club overhauled the previous structure of fan engagement and has engaged consistently with a wide array of fan groups on both a formal and informal basis. This has included encouraging and supporting the establishment of several new fan groups during this period as well as being one of the few Clubs to enter into the model fan engagement MoU with the Supporters Trust. These relationships will now be progressed further under the FES with the formal adoption of the FAB in the form required by the Rules.

We will provide further information on the Fan Advisory Board before the end of the 2022/23 season and will publish our Fan Engagement Plan ahead of the 2023/24 season.
