Ahead of the second round tie, Nat Johnson shared an update on life at Forest since joining earlier this year.
On life at Forest...
Nat Johnson is four months into to her career at Nottingham Forest; the defender spoke on how she has found it so far.
“I’m loving life at Forest. You can really tell how much we have bonded over those four months as a group.
For myself personally, I’m enjoying coming in everyday and I’ve always got a smile on my face so that’s always good!”
On The City Ground...
Forest Women have played twice at The City Ground this season; Johnson shared her pride of playing in-front of the Forest faithful.
“It’s one of the best experiences of my whole career, playing at The City Ground in-front of our fans.
The fans always let us know that they’re there and the support is unwavering, despite the results. It’s definitely a highlight of my career.”

On her goal-scoring record...
The full-back has three goals under her belt already this season, exceeding her initial expectations when she signed in July.
“It has definitely exceeded my expectations, but at the same time it has made me hungry for more. Hopefully I won’t stop at three goals. It’s a part of my game that I’m really chuffed to be improving on at Forest.”
On the FA Cup...
Nat enjoyed an excellent FA Cup run at Lewes FC last season, reaching the quarter-finals; the defender is keen to replicate that cup run with Forest.
“It would be unbelievable to be able to (replicate Lewes’ cup run) with this group of girls. Making it that far last year with Lewes was another one of the highlights of my career.
To that again this year with Forest would be incredible for the team and the club.”

On Sporting Khalsa...
The Reds take on Sporting Khalsa in the second round this Sunday, Johnson previewed the cup tie at Grange Park.
“It will be a tough game this weekend. They are an up-and-coming club with a lot of potential; they’re having a good season so far.
No game is easy in the FA Cup, so we will be ready for another tough game at Grange Park.”
