10-man Forest came from behind to share the points in a 1-1 draw against Brentford on Sunday.
Head Coach Steve Cooper made three changes to the side which narrowly lost to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last time out, with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Anthony Elanga and Murillo coming in, with the latter making his debut for the club.
The Reds made a strong start to the contest, with Anthony Elanga forcing Aaron Hickey into an early yellow card inside the first minute.
In the eighth minute, Forest thought they had taken the lead after Murillo flicked on Hudson-Odoi’s corner for Taiwo Awoniyi to convert from close-range, but the striker’s finish was ruled out for offside.
Awoniyi then nearly turned provider in the 25th minute as he found Elanga to his right but the winger could only find the side netting from a tight angle.
After a goalless first half, Forest’s start to the second was a disappointing one, as Moussa Niakhaté was shown a second yellow card for a foul on Yoane Wissa.
From the resulting free-kick, Christian Nørgaard glanced a header to give the visitors the lead.
In response to the dismissal, Cooper made two changes which saw Morgan Gibbs-White and Harry Toffolo replace Hudson-Odoi and Elanga.
The two substitutes then combined as Forest fought hard to grab an equalise. Gibbs-White released Toffolo whose excellent delivery from the left-hand side met the head of Nicolás Domínguez who flicked a header over Mark Flekken and into the far corner.
Brentford looked to make their extra-man advantage count in the dying embers, with Gibbs-White producing an excellent challenge to deny Bryan Mbeumo one-on-one.
The latter stages was end-to-end, with substitutes Chris Wood and Divock Origi combining as the former headed over from the Belgian’s cross.
Down the other end, Murillo produced an excellent goal line clearance to keep out Michael Olakigbe’s effort.
In the final minute of 13 added on, Willy Boly glanced a header wide from Gibbs-White’s free-kick delivery, as the points were shared on Trentside.
