Forest Women return to winning ways in the league.
Forest Women faced Liverpool Feds in their Northern Premier Division fixture at Grange Park.
Carly Davies made one change from the starting line-up against Derby County as Charlotte Greengrass returned to the eleven.
It was a bright start for The Reds as both Freya Thomas and Greengrass came close to opening the scoring.
The best opportunity fell to Reds’ top scorer Holly Manders who couldn’t direct her effort goalwards from close range in the 10th minute.
Forest were rewarded for their positive start following some brave work from the returning Greengrass to dispossess the ‘keeper and give The Reds the lead.
The hosts doubled their advantage minutes later as Greengrass again put the ‘keeper under pressure, charging down her kick again to score her second of the afternoon.
Forest continued to push for the third goal before the break with Mollie Green and Mai Moncaster both coming close to extending the lead.

Just minutes after the restart and Greengrass scored her third goal of the match for her second hat-trick of the season at Grange Park with a header inside the box.
Forest almost had their fourth of the game as Manders fired a stunning strike towards goal which smashed against the bar.
With 30 minutes remaining Sophie Domingo was introduced to the action with goalscorer Greengrass making way.
Forest had their fourth of the afternoon as Nat Johnson fired an excellent strike into the top corner.
Carly Davies then looked to the bench as the match entered the final quarter with Chloe Dixon and debutant Alice Keitley on for Moncaster and Thomas.
The Reds soon had another when Green found the back-of-the-net with a brilliant shot from outside of the box.
Laura-Jayne O’Neill and Niamh Reynolds were subbed on with 10 minutes left as The Reds secured the win and clean sheet at Grange Park.
