Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce the signing of Belgium international Divock Origi.
The forward arrives on a season-long loan deal from AC Milan.
Origi, 28, arrives with vast Premier League experience having made 175 appearances during an eight-year spell at Liverpool.
Joining the Merseyside club in 2014, Origi went on to win one FA Cup, one League Cup and one Premier League title with Jürgen Klopp’s side, as well as famously scoring in the semi-finals and final of Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League winning campaign in 2018/19.
Origi, who had loan spells with Lille and VfL Wolfsburg during his time at Anfield, moved to Milan last summer, playing 36 games across all competitions including eight times in the Champions League last term.
A 32-time Belgium international, Origi made his international debut in May 2014, scoring at the FIFA World Cup against Russia in Brazil.
Forest’s Chief Football Officer, Ross Wilson said: “Divock returns to the Premier League to further add strength to our squad. We wanted to bolster our attacking options and Divock certainly helps us to do that.
"We look forward to welcoming him to our home on Trentside.”
