On Álex Moreno…

“He joined us yesterday, he still didn’t join the group, now he’s doing the normal testing.

“I think he can give us another option in the full-back situation. He’s a good player, we as a club had the chance to bring him in.

“I hope he can help us.”

On transfer business…

“You know how the transfer window works, until the end, anything can happen.

“I will always insist that it’s most important to keep our players so we don’t get any sort of surprise.

“I think every club will try in the last days to fix the final details of their squad and we are the same.”

On Danilo’s injury…

“We miss him. It was a big loss for us in terms of not having him around.

“The last report we had is that it is a serious injury, but we are confident that he’s going to come back strong and ready to play.

“It’s too soon to speak about that (how long he will be out for).

“He’s at home, we speak with him everyday and he still has some pain, but he’s happy and he’s always positive.

“That’s so important when you have an injury, how you react to it.

“We don’t have any kind of timescale, now he’s going to have surgery next week hopefully, then we’ll have a proper report from the doctors.”

On building from the Bournemouth game…

“There’s always details we need to look at.

“I think we played a good game, we were almost there and this is what we’re trying to improve, when we get the lead to keep it.

“But the play was really positive and interaction with the fans was good, so let’s move forward and take the positives from it.”

On Southampton…

“Every match in the Premier League is so tough. Football nowadays shows us there are no easy games.

“Southampton are a very good team, they showed it against Newcastle. It’s going to be a tough game for us.

“Every team has different ideas, that’s why it’s so challenging to compete, as we’re going to face many different opponents.

“But it’s about yourself and how strong you can be and how you want to play football.”
