Aaron Donnelly has completed a season-long loan move to Colchester United.
The defender heads on loan to the Essex club for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
Donnelly, who made his senior debut for Northern Ireland in June, spent last season on loan in the Scottish Premiership with Dundee, making 21 appearances.
Head of Football Development and Talent Management, Craig Mulholland, said: "This is an important stage in Aaron’s career and following the presentation from Danny Cowley and his team at Colchester, alongside our own data analysis, and conversations we have had with Colchester, we believe this will provide a positive platform for Aaron over the next few months.
"We wish him well at his new club and he will be fully supported by our Players Pathways Manager, Chris Brass and the other staff in in transitions and B Team space Andy Reid, Owen Coyle and Warren Joyce."
