Forest were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Wolves on Saturday afternoon.

Nuno Espírito Santo named an unchanged team to the one that won at Southampton last weekend, and saw his side take the lead inside 10 minutes.

Anthony Elanga’s corner found Chris Wood deep at the far post and the striker’s header back across goal nestled into the corner for 1-0.

But Wolves were to launch an immediate response through Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, who saw the ball fall kindly for him 25 yards from goal before thundering an effort into the top-right corner to equalise for Gary O’Neil’s men.

The game quietened down after a fast-paced start, but Forest nearly regained the lead through Gibbs-White, whose free-kick looked destined for the top corner but for Sam Johnstone’s superb save.

Looking to kick on in the second half, Forest came close again through Wood, who forced Johnstone into smart save with a header from Gibbs-White’s cross.

Ramón Sosa was introduced for his Premier League debut in the second half, and shortly after, the Paraguayan winger nearly assisted Neco Williams for the winner, but the Welshman’s shot fired just over the crossbar.

Forest thought they had it when Wood fired home from close-range amid a goalmouth scramble, but the flag was raised for offside.

Wolves’ Tommy Doyle saw a dangerous shot deflected over the crossbar by Murillo, as the points were ultimately shared on Trentside.
