Nikola Milenković says he was delighted to contribute to Forest's 2-1 win against Aston Villa with another goal at the weekend.

The Serbian defender scored his second goal in as many games, drawing Forest level with a close-range header with three minutes of normal time remaining.

That goal gave Forest the confidence to go and score another, with Anthony Elanga popping up with a 93rd minute winner to leave Forest fourth in the Premier League.

But whilst the defender was happy to contribute with another goal, he insisted that picking up the three points was more important.

Speaking post-match, Milenković said: “I’m so happy because of the goal, but I’m more happy because of the win.

“How we won the game, we stayed in the match every minute. The team shows ambition to win every game, and without our fans we cannot do this.

“The atmosphere is so special. Without our fans, we cannot do this. We are happy, we need to keep our feet on the ground and have the same ambition to win more games.

“When we conceded the goal, we felt that we have a goal in the air. We kept pushing and the final result is the one we wanted.”
