Nottingham Forest can confirm that Board member Kyriakos Dourekas will leave the Club after five years of exceptional service.

Initially joining The Reds as Director of Football, Dourekas was appointed to the Club’s Board of Directors in March 2022.  Since 2018, he has expertly delivered significant improvements in many areas such as the first team, academy, stadium and training ground operations, recruitment, and more.

We would like to thank Kyriakos for his immense contributions to Nottingham Forest and wish him the very best for his future endeavours.

Kyriakos Dourekas said: “I have had 5 special years with Nottingham Forest, and I am incredibly grateful to Mr. Evangelos Marinakis and Mr. Miltiadis Marinakis for their belief in me and the support they have provided during my time at both Olympiacos FC and Nottingham Forest.

“We dreamed of returning to the Premier League, and we achieved that dream after 23 challenging years away. Our dedicated players, coaches, technical staff and administrative staff who have been with us over the years made this accomplishment possible. Most importantly, we owe this success to our extraordinary fans, who welcomed my family and I to Nottingham. I am deeply thankful for their unwavering support.

“While moving on to new challenges, I will always cherish my time at Nottingham Forest and forever hold a special place in my heart for Olympiacos FC.”
