The group stage draw of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy will be made on Thursday afternoon.
Forest’s B Team will learn their group stage opponents for this year’s competition in Thursday’s draw live on Sky Sports News from 2:30pm.
Forest played in the competition for the first time as an academy outfit last season, defeating Accrington Stanley and Carlisle United to finish second in Group C before losing to Doncaster Rovers in the round of 32.
Forest, who have been placed in the Northern Section of the draw, will be ball number seven, joining the EFL sides who have already been placed into groups.
All of Forest’s fixtures in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy will be played away from home.
