Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce that Emily Batty has signed a new contract with the Club.

The goalkeeper has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal ahead of the 2024/25 season.

As well as extending her stay on Trentside for another year, Batty also signs her first full-time contract with Nottingham Forest.

Batty signed for The Reds in 2021 and has since clocked up over 80 appearances, winning the FA WNL Cup, Northern Premier Division title and Golden Glove during her spell at Forest Women.

Head of Women’s and Girls’ Football, Amber Wildgust, said: “Emily produced some fantastic performances last season, she is a pivotal part of our plans.

"Emily is an incredible person, a fantastic professional, and we are beyond excited she has re-signed to continue our journey together.”

Batty spoke on her contract extension: “I'm very happy. I’ve loved my time at the Club so far, and I think being here for another year is going to help my development and ultimately make me a better player.”
