Nottingham Forest is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Bell as its new Chief Operating Officer.
With over two decades of experience in sports marketing and an impressive track record in the football industry, Paul brings a wealth of expertise and a vast network of contacts to the club.
Paul joins Nottingham Forest following a successful tenure as Executive Director at Leeds United, where he spent seven years driving commercial growth and elevating the club's status both domestically and internationally.
During his time at Leeds United, Paul was instrumental in delivering record commercial revenues, leading the club back into the prestigious Deloitte Top 20 European Money League for the first time since the 2002/03 season.
Under Paul's leadership, the retail business at Leeds United became the fastest-growing in European football over a five-year period. He also facilitated major sponsorship agreements for the Yorkshire club, securing deals with renowned brands including adidas, SBOTOP, Hisense, JD Sports, Heineken, and EA Sports.
Paul’s impact extended beyond sponsorship, successfully delivering commercially-focused pre-season tours to Australia and Norway for Leeds United, as well as hosting a variety of international sports events and music concerts at Elland Road, including England Senior Men's and Women's team friendlies, Rugby League World Cup matches and World Championship Boxing.
Forest Chairman Tom Cartledge said: ”We are delighted to welcome Paul Bell to Nottingham Forest as our new Chief Operating Officer. His extensive experience, proven track record, and deep understanding of the football landscape make him the ideal candidate to drive our club's commercial growth and operational excellence.
“We look forward to leveraging his expertise as we further strengthen our senior team and redouble our efforts to drive the club's future success and growth, on and off the pitch.”
