Forest returned to winning ways with an important 3-1 victory over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Nuno Espírito Santo named two changes to the side which lost to Manchester City last time out, with Gonzalo Montiel replacing the injured Neco Williams and Ryan Yates replacing Moussa Niakhaté.
Forest came close to opening the scoring inside two minutes when Morgan Gibbs-White's cross picked out Chris Wood whose first-time effort flashed just wide.
But the hosts responded well and took the lead from the penalty spot, with Ben Brereton Diaz firing home from 12 yards.
On 25 minutes though, Forest found a leveller in some style. Danilo found Callum Hudson-Odoi just inside the area, and the winger took one touch before bending an effort into the far corner for 1-1.
An end-to-end half followed, with Murillo making two crucial blocks in the space of two minutes to deny Jayden Bogle and then Brereton Diaz.
Matz Sels then kept the scores level when he produced a superb stop to deny Cameron Archer one-on-one as the Blades piled on the pressure.
Forest had another good chance through Wood before the break though, as the striker rattled the crossbar with a header from another dangerous Gibbs-White cross.
HALF TIME: Sheffield United 1-1 Forest
Seven minutes after the restart, Forest took the lead. A free-kick fell kindly for Ryan Yates who hammered home from close-range for his first Premier League goal, a week after making his 200th appearance for the club.
Forest then took inspiration from that, pushing forward for a decisive third goal which they very nearly found when Hudson-Odoi checked inside and curled a shot wide of the far post from inside the area.
But the winger wasn't to let that faze him as he scored his second and Forest's third goal of the afternoon on 65 minutes. The winger cut inside Anel Ahmedhodžić and arrowed an effort into the far corner for 3-1.
Forest then saw the game out comfortably, and even played with an extra man for the closing stages after Ahmedhodžić was dismissed for an elbow on Nico Domínguez.
