Nottingham Forest Women can confirm that six players will leave the club following the expiry of their contracts in the summer.
The club would like to express its gratitude and thanks to each player for their invaluable contributions during their time at Nottingham Forest.
Goalkeeper Aja Aguirre has represented Forest for eight seasons over two spells. Aguirre made her permanent move Trentside in 2019 following a successful loan stint from Aston Villa and has played for the club over 60 times in her career.
Aguirre’s honours include winning the 2020/21 Coaches' Player of the Season, the FA WNL Plate win in 2021/22 as well as the Northern Premier Division title win last season. Aja played a key part in The Reds’ FA WNL Cup win in 2022/23, featuring in four out of six games in the memorable cup run.

Defender Olivia Cook has played in the Garibaldi 96 times over a five-year spell at the club. Cook secured Young Player of the Season in her debut season and featured for England U19s whilst at Forest.
Cook’s successes at the club included playing a pivotal role in The Reds’ FA WNL Plate, Cup and Northern Premier Division victories. Liv was an ever-present member of last season’s league and cup winning side with an appearance in every game of a historic season for Forest Women.

Full back Chloe Dixon joined the club last summer following her move from Championship side Blackburn Rovers. Dixon played 17 times this season, scoring twice including a goal and an assist on her full-debut.
Chloe featured in every match of a memorable Women’s FA Cup run this season as The Reds reached the fifth round for the first time in 11 years.

Forward Mai Moncaster signed for Nottingham Forest in 2019 and has since played over 100 times for the club, achieving her century of appearances in The Reds’ win against Newcastle United. Moncaster has scored 26 goals for Forest and was voted back-to-back Fans’ Player of the Season in 2021/22 and 2022/23.
Mai played a key role in the club’s league and cup double in 2022/23, scoring eight goals in 26 appearances. Moncaster enjoyed another strong season this season, clocking up 7 goals and 7 assists, as well as a nomination for Women’s FA Cup Player of the Round.

Defender Laura-Jayne O’Neill has represented the club 108 times during her 11 seasons at Nottingham Forest over two spells. Nottingham Forest fan O’Neill achieved her 100th appearance during The Reds' league and cup winning season in 2022/23.
LJ’s honours include last season’s FA WNL Cup victory and Northern Premier Division title as well as the FA WNL Plate win two years ago. O’Neill first featured for Forest Women at 16 years old and has played a key part in many of the club’s successes ever since.

Midfielder Niamh Reynolds joined the club in 2020 and has clocked up over 65 appearances in the Garibaldi since. Reynolds featured in Forest Women’s victories in the FA WNL Plate and Cup over the past two seasons, as well as The Reds’ first title win in over 15 years.
Niamh has scored eight times during her spell at the club, most notably her strike against Derby County at The City Ground in 2022/23. Reynolds also secured a memorable win away at league champions Newcastle United with her goal in the 90th minute this season.
