Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce that Aaron Bott has extended his 13-year association with the Club, signing a new deal that runs until June 2027.

Bott had his first session with the Academy as seven-year-old, before joining officially at the age of nine.

Having established himself as a key member of the B Team squad, Bott was rewarded with an extended period with the first team over the summer.

For Forest’s first pre-season game against Chesterfield, Bott replaced Carlos Miguel in the second half in what was a well-earned debut for the Club.

He has since continued to be close to the first-team setup, part of the travelling squad for numerous fixtures so far this campaign.

Head of Academy, Chris McGuane, said of the new deal: “Aaron fully deserves the reward of a new contract, and we are delighted he will continue his development at the Club.

“He has been a regular with the first team squad since returning for pre-season back in July and has also featured for our B Team in fixtures, performing to a high standard. As a character, Aaron is a fantastic young man and every day shows an exemplary attitude to all that he does, both on and off the pitch.

“He is a role model to our young players in the Academy and continues to improve as a Goalkeeper every day. Our congratulations go to Aaron and his family and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for him.”
