Forest returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.

Nuno Espírito Santo made five changes to the side that lost at Arsenal last time out, with Jota Silva, Elliot Anderson, Chris Wood, Morgan Gibbs-White and Neco Williams introduced to the line-up.

The Reds started well, with Ryan Yates seeing a goalbound effort cleared off the line by Sam Szmodics following Callum Hudson-Odoi's cut-back.

Forest had to make a goal line clearance of their own down the other end though, as Ola Aina was in the right place to crucially keep out Cameron Burgess' header.

After having to be patient throughout the first half, Forest made their pressure count four minutes after the restart. Jota was tripped by Szmodics inside the area, and Chris Wood stepped up to score his ninth goal of the season, blasting his spot-kick down the middle.

Ipswich had Aro Muric to thank for keeping the score at 1-0 when he superbly tipped Murillo's header onto the crossbar from point-blank range.

Ipswich did see plenty of the ball towards the closing stages as they pushed for an equaliser, but Forest's defence remained resolute to keep a fifth clean sheet of the season and return to winning ways.
