Nottingham Forest is pleased to announce the Club will be hosting a free open training session at The City Ground on Tuesday 29th October.
In a special event hosted for the first time since Forest’s return to the Premier League, supporters will have the exciting opportunity to watch Nuno Espírito Santo and his staff put the squad through their paces as they prepare for the visit of West Ham United on Saturday, 2nd November.
The event, scheduled during the half-term school holidays, forms a key part of the vision of Forest’s owner, Evangelos Marinakis, and the Club’s coaching staff, to continually develop the special relationship it has with its supporters.
Fans will not only have the chance to watch the players in action, but they will also hear directly from the coaching staff and players about their preparations. Forest’s match day announcer Mark Dennison will host the event, engaging in insightful conversations with Nuno and team captain Ryan Yates at the end of the session.
The Club expects to welcome over 3,700 fans, selected through a ballot which will be open to Season Card Holders, MyForest Members, and Club partners. The event will also be open to external media as the Club offers this unique access behind the scenes, showing what goes into preparing the squad to face their next opponents at The City Ground.
As the Club looks to build on its positive start to the current Premier League campaign and continues its growth both on and off the pitch, this event will also give supporters an insight into the work that goes on beyond the coaching.
Those in attendance will hear from first team analysts as well as the Pitch Performance Team to understand the scale of the behind-the-scenes preparations that take place ahead of a match day.
To enhance the experience, breakfast sandwiches and refreshments will be available on the concourses and in the Fan Zone, ensuring that everyone can make the most of their visit to The City Ground.
This event is open exclusively for 2024/25 Season Card Holders and MyForest Members on a balloting basis, beginning at 10:30am with turnstiles opening from 9:30am. Supporters will be sat in the Brian Clough Stand.
Season Card Holders and MyForest Members can enter the ballot by applying here.

Balloting
To apply via the ballot, visit https://www.eticketing.co.uk/nottinghamforest/Events, ensuring to click the icon of a person top right so that you’re signed into your eTicketing account. If you click this and are then redirected to the main website, click “Tickets” and then when taken back to the eTicketing website, click the icon of a person top right again to sign in.
You can then apply for the relevant event, where during the application process, you can click “Add another member” and scroll down slightly when the pop-up screen comes up, to then select individuals from your MyForest network, or alternatively, search for another eligible individual.
We would strongly advise applying for whoever you wish to attend with in the same application, as if you apply separately, one application may be successful, and one may be unsuccessful.
Once you’ve applied, you will then receive a confirmation email from us – this isn’t confirmation that you have been successful, as you will receive a different email from us after we’ve ran the ballot (see “Important Sales Dates” above) to inform you as to whether you’ve been successful or not.
