Nottingham Forest Netball return to home at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday, as they take on East Midlands rivals Loughborough Lightning in the Netball Super League.
Thousands of fans headed down to support the Reds in their home debut last month, which saw Forest achieve their first victory at home, beating Cardiff Dragons 70-54.
You can be there to support Forest on Saturday (game start 3pm). Tickets start from just £8 and are available to purchase directly from the Motorpoint Arena website here.
It’s not just the action on the court that you can look forward to.
There’s a host of activities and excitement to get involved in before the first centre point, so we’re giving you the full low-down so you can make the most of your Saturday at the Motorpoint Arena.
Show Your Support
Let’s paint the Motorpoint Arena red! Face painting will be available free of charge in the concourse from 11am for any fan wanting to look the part and paint on their show their support to the Reds!
Merchandise will also be available to purchase at the venue, so you can kit out in the Garibaldi! You can also purchase a range of products online at the Forest Store.
Activities For All
There’s plenty to get involved in off the court.
Snap memories from the match with your friends and family in the photobooth, situated in the concourse and open from 11.30am.
Looking to test your own skill? There will be different netball activities taking place from 11am in the concourse to try out as well!
Action on the Court
Your match ticket give you access to watch both the Netball Super League and NXT Gen match.
The NXT Gen match will also be played between Nottingham Forest and Loughborough Lightning. The match is part of the NXT Gen league, which is referred to as an 'U23 feeder League', which features the nine NSL teams and Team Bath.
The NXT Gen match starts at 12pm (start is often referred to as ‘First Centre Point’ or ‘FCP’) and expected to finish around 1:45pm. The players will also be around to sign autographs after the match.
The Netball Super League match is the main showcase and set to start at 3pm (First Centre Point/FCP) and expected to finish around 4.45pm.
There will also be Community Roots Showcase on the court at 12.35pm (U9-U11) and 1.45pm (U12-U15).
Match Details
The NSL match will be played in four quarters. Each quarter is 15 minutes long, with a few minutes break between the first and second quarter, as well as the third and fourth quarter. There will be a longer interval between the second and third quarter.
The match is expected to end around 4:45pm, but if the match is tied at the end of the fourth quarter the match will go to a 10-minute period of extra time – there are no draws in the NSL!

- 11am – Face painting in the concourse.
- 11.30am – Photobooth in the concourse.
- 12pm – NXT Gen match starts (First Centre Point – FCP).
- 12.35pm – Community Roots Showcase (U9-U11).
- 1.45pm - Community Roots Showcase (U12-U15).
- 3pm – Netball Super League match starts (First Centre Point – FCP).
- 4.45pm – Netball Super League match expected to end.
